Whilst reading a back copy off a magazine I came across what can only be described as one of the best words in the equine language.
It’s a fun word to say, with a satisfying ending.
Anyway I guess I should tell you what an infundibulum is. It is the dark depression in the centre of newly erupted teeth. It sits inside the cup, which is the enamel ring of the tooth. The infundibulum disappears with wear and has gone from all the incisors by the time the horse is right.
